Subsidiary Company Registration

Reservation of Company Name

• Provide 5 company names in order of preference
• Photocopy of shareholder's ID
• Detailed scope of business activities
• Local contact address (address of preparatory office, if available)

Apply for Foreign Investment Approval (FIA)

• Photocopy of identification / passport (for individual shareholders) OR photocopy of certificate (for corporate shareholder)
• Power of Attorney (POA) to appoint us as your agent. Must be notarized by a home country government agency/court or Taipei Office.

Open Bank Account & Remit Capital

• Representative must go to the Taiwan bank in person
• Non-resident representatives must obtain a Taiwan ID number via Immigration authority
• Capital MUST be remitted from the shareholders' overseas accounts

*Note: The representative needs to go to the bank again to convert the preparatory account to an official account after establishment.

Submit Proof of Remittance

• Provide advice of remittance / foreign exchange memo to Department of Investment Review, MOEA
• Obtain the Foreign Investment Approval letter

Company Registration

• Apply to local company registration authority
• Obtain company identification number (VAT Number)
• A registered address is strictly required. All official government correspondences will be sent here.

Business Registration

• Representative needs to go to the tax office to acknowledge being appointed by signing a document.
